Frank Blocker’s solo plays including Stabilized Not Controlled ran for a combined four years at Stage Left Studio in Manhattan. He was nominated for a New York Drama Desk Award for Outstanding Solo Performance for his work in Southern Gothic Novel. His latest play, Good Jew, premiered at the Museum of Jewish Heritage. All three plays are available for dates in the U.S. and Canada.

Available for performances throughout the United States. International travel is also feasible but pricing must include all travel to and from the location. Currently in Southwest Florida, lower rates apply when working in the area. Northern Florida would be an increased rate. The rest of the United States, Canada and Mexico would incur out-of-state charges. Consider travel and lodging as key to making a booking happen. Prices can be negotiated depending on the venue, location and any special considerations surrounding the event.

A caring and careful adaptation of Mr. Lovecraft’s original story, told in monologue from the several characters in the original, giving their point of view as the monster grows throughout the course of the play. The play begins and ends with a spell created using the Necronomicon. In the final moments the narrator invokes the monster to devour the audience…giving him a head start.
Shadows Out of Time (in progress) – Science Fiction
This play is in progress and is another based on an HP Lovecraft story. Our hero finds himself missing years of time only to discover a being from the distant past used his life as a research tool. He awakens to find his wife and family have left him and he must put his life back together. It is in his discoveries and research that he finds the terrifying answers.
